please listen to “japanese toy”. i like this act out of ireland. spoke to their manager Beate in berlin - Beate used to work for Universal in berlin and she “gets it” the whole need for a new indie label focusing on new ways to break acts.

I generally like them. A bit Shirley Manson-ish. I would like more powerful vocals, and more of a “building” element, but that can be accomplished with better production and guidance. Japanese Toy could be a hit if the other factors come into play.

I completely agree with Alan on this band. But a good sound and a good winner insofar as female vocals (which you know I’m ultra picky about)
